About Me:

Hi, I’m Kayla, a Licensed Professional Counselor, perinatal mental health specialist, iced coffee enthusiast, and firm believer that “mom guilt” shouldn’t be the default setting for parenthood.

My path to this work is both personal and professional. After navigating my own experience with perinatal depression, and feeling the deep lack of understanding and support available, I knew I wanted to be the kind of therapist I had needed back then. That calling only deepened after a decade working in OB and fertility settings, alongside years supporting moms navigating substance use recovery.

I’ve sat with so many women in those tender,

in-between places and I never take their trust lightly.

At Be Well Therapy, I work with women navigating the full spectrum of transition: pregnancy, postpartum, identity shifts, relational strain, and the quiet moments of “is this normal?” that so many of us carry in silence.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative, rooted in CBT, DBT, IFS, and trauma-informed care, and always tailored to what feels right for you.

You won’t find toxic positivity here. Just honest conversation, real support, and space to show up exactly as you are; messy, anxious, grieving, hopeful, tired, or all of the above.

I’m here to help you feel a little less alone, a little more grounded, and a lot more like yourself again.

In our sessions, you can expect:

A grounded, non-judgmental space to share what you’re holding whether that’s anxiety, grief, overwhelm, or just the ache of not feeling like yourself.

Tools and insights rooted in CBT, DBT, IFS, and trauma-informed care, always adapted to your pace and your needs.

Room to explore your story and identity, especially during big transitions like pregnancy, postpartum, or shifting roles.

Permission to take up space, to cry, question, pause, and feel without needing to explain or perform.
